We analyze literature review papers on information technology and strategic management, confirming the main focal points of existing research. Furthermore, we focus on two streams of research: traditional studies and those related to digital transformation and verify their relevance. As a result, it becomes evident that research on digital transformation occupies a different position compared to traditional research.
