New strategies, therefore, are necessary for the ad-hoc networks. It has been found that a giant network covering whole field emerges suddenly under the situation that the average link number becomes larger than 4.52. In this study, by using this distinctive feature we examined simulations reducing the number of links around viruses, then confirmed whether this method affect the number of infected nodes. Although virus population increases as the average link number increases up to around 11, it does not achieve 1.0 because of the effect of Medium Access Control. For the case of the average link number over 11, the virus population rate gradually decreases since the blocking effect by Medium Access Control becomes stronger there.
