 note = {E(その他), 交通手段に関する技術が進んだ現代では、航空機や鉄道による輸送も活発になった。本稿では、近代から現代まで、どのような交通手段によって人や物資が移動してきたのか、近代的交通手段の発明・改良の歩みをたどることでみていくことにしたい。また、戦後になり地球規模で大きな関心を呼び起こすことになる環境問題との関係で、人に優しいと注目されたLRT(軽快電車)やモノレールなどの「新交通システム」、水素自動車や将来的に期待されているリニア新幹線の課題についても言及する。日本や欧米の例を近代以降の鉄道、自動車や航空機などの交通手段の発達の歴史をたどる中で、LRT（軽快電車:路面電車のこと）、新交通システムやリニア新幹線と地震との関係についても検討することにしたい。, In the present age, advances in transportation technology impact both air and rail systems. This paper investigates the various modes of transportation used in Japan from the late 19th century to today. In recent years, for example, ‘new transportations systems, such as LRT (Light Rail Transit) and monorails, have been attracting attention. This paper also examines hydrogen fuel cell vehicles, considered to be more eco-friendly than traditional fossil fuels; as well as technological issues and the impact of earthquakes on Japan’s linear　Shinkansen program.},
