In this study, we focus on visiting care staff who work as non-permanent employees at nursing care facilities. We also focus on behavioral principles influencing their reasons for choosing this style of work, from the perspective of these people’s identities. Simultaneously, we reveal issues arising from identities gained through working at a workplace. Finally, wediscuss the organizational management techniques that should be implemented, considering the care staffmembers’ identities. The analysis results show that non-full-time employees in a company maintain their identities as outsiders, resulting in a stronger relationship with users than with the company. Furthermore, we found that information sharing with regards to learning tends to be restricted, as these employees are limited by systems and organizational norms.
