The Japan Medical Abstracts Society( ICHUSHI) and CiNii databases were searched using the keywords“ attitudes towards the disabled”(Japanese: shō gai-kan)“, attitudes towards disabled people”( shō gaisha-kan), and“ students”( gakusei). Fifteen corresponding studies from authors in wide-ranging fields of specialization were identified, read in detail, and comparatively analyzed.
