Focusing on Chomsky’s（2019, 2020 among others）new approach to copy formation under interfacial identity of SO, I hypothesize a criterion for licensing IM configuration, which is referred to as fully identical/full identity. This predicts that if the criterion is not satisfied among SOs in single IM configuration, it results in an SM output where irregular copy realization takes place. In order to testify\nthis proposal, I examine resumptive pronouns（RPs）in relative clauses that have compelled us to adopt\nbinding and referential indexing, for co-referencing an antecedent, relativizer and RP.
