RRCs have quite commonly been analyzed as created via Pair-MERGE. However, now that Pair-MERGE is no longer available because it runs afoul of the tenet of Simplest MERGE, I instead adopt Immediate-Local MERGE, advanced by Omune（2019）, to extract the antecedent DP of RRCs, generating two occurrences of the DP in Workspace. As a result, relative clause adjunction can be explained in terms of a configuration where the relative CP merges with the lower occurrence of the DP.
